No data collection

This extension collects zero personal data. Your API key is stored locally in your browser's chrome.storage.local and never leaves your machine except when sent directly to your chosen LLM provider's endpoint using your own API key.

Subtitle translation

The Danish subtitle text (.vtt) from DR's player is sent directly to the LLM endpoint you configure. We do not intercept, store, or log this data. Nothing phones home.

Network access

This extension only communicates with:

• www.dr.dk — to load the video player and its subtitle tracks.
• Your chosen LLM provider's endpoint — to send subtitle text for translation and receive English translations.

Caching

Translated subtitles may be cached in your browser's IndexedDB for the current episode. This cache is stored locally and is not synced or transmitted anywhere.

Third-party services

Translation is performed by the LLM provider you select and configure. We are not responsible for their data practices. Please review their privacy policies separately.
